Hey all! This is a super fun workout that focuses on strength and building muscle without the assistance of free weights/ machines.
With the gyms being closed I’m sure I’m not the only one that misses it like crazy. It can be difficult to work on certain areas of the body especially when it comes to power workouts with little or no equipment but you can always get creative!
This videos walks you through a very sped up set of the workout I’ll be listing below. (Note, some exercises were shortened for the video in the interest of time but they are all there.)
Power Workout
-20 jump squats
-40 squats
-20 count squat hold
-20 dragon push ups (10 per side)
-40 shoulder taps
-20 count plank hold
-20 walking lunges
-40 calf raises
-20 count calf raise hold
~Repeat three times for a quicker workout.
~Repeat five times for a more intense workout.
~Repeat seven times for a more advanced workout that’s guaranteed to get you’re blood pumping.
*End with a one mile cool down run and don’t forget to stretch!*
This post is super helpful – since we’ve been in quarantine I slowly stopped working out and have had trouble finding motivation to, but the power circuit workout looks effective and easy to do at home. I’m definitely going to try this
